Bains Health & Wellness is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance for membership or consultations. However, your labs can still be run through your insurance at any Quest Diagnostics location - meaning you only pay your normal copay or deductible for bloodwork. Many patients find that paying us directly for care actually costs less overall than navigating insurance-based practices with copays, referrals, and surprise bills.

Your initial consultation is completely free. We'll review your symptoms, health history, and goals - and walk you through exactly what your care plan and costs would look like before you commit to anything. If you enroll, the consultation fee is applied toward your first month's membership. No pressure, no obligation.

After signing up you'll complete a short intake form and we'll order your baseline labs. Once results are in - typically within a few days - we'll schedule your first full consultation to review everything and build your personalized protocol. Most patients have their first prescription sent within 1-2 weeks of signing up.

No. Bains Health & Wellness is telehealth-first - all consultations happen via secure video visit from wherever you are. Lab draws are done at any Quest Diagnostics location near you. Your medications are shipped directly to your door through our compounding pharmacy partner. For patients who prefer in person care, our Manteca office is opening soon.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your membership is month-to-month and can be paused or cancelled at any time. Founding Member rates are locked in for the life of your membership - meaning if you pause and return, your rate is protected as long as you remain a member.

That's exactly what we figure out together. TRT is only recommended when labs confirm low testosterone alongside symptoms - fatigue, low libido, brain fog, mood changes, loss of muscle. We never prescribe based on symptoms alone. Your baseline labs tell us the full picture, and we build your protocol from there - whether that's TRT, a natural optimization approach, or something in between.
